Chinese Class Clown Executed
This is outrageous (click the link, read the article)! The Chinese government has executed an 11-year-old child just because he drew a mustache on a picture of one of the government officials. It’s crimes against humanity like this that should be protested. They can’t get away with this!

ZZZzzzzz...
So yesterday was a lot of fun … NOT! Our facility (at work) is having an assessment in the next couple weeks. Our team needed to clean up our development lab and server room. We planned to have everything offline from about 6:00pm to 1:00am last night while we re-wired, labeled, and straightened the racks.
We grossely underestimated the project. There were 14 of us working, we started at 6:00pm sharp … I didn’t get home until 5:30 this morning. I worked a 20 hour work day yesterday. And frankly, I never want to again. Ugh.
I’ve just now woken up after a bit of a nap. I’m groggy and unmotivated to do anything for the rest of the day too. Blerg. On the bright side, I probably won’t have to use any vacation time for being out of the office on Monday!

Surprise!
We flew to Chico, CA to surprise my mother-in-law for her 60th birthday. My brother-in-law and his fiance drove up. My wife’s “aunt” and her kids all came to town too. Lots of family, lots of fun.
But, WAY too short. We flew out on Friday afternoon and came back today. Ugh. Tired. In fact, going to bed now … night!

Double-take
Driving into work this morning I spotted something that seemed a little out of place.
Picture this: metallic green, 2005+ VW bug, flower in the little dashboard vase. Who would you picture driving a vehicle of that nature?
Probably not a mid-20s, black guy with huge diamond earrings, NY yankees hat backwards and to the side, and gold chains. But then, maybe that IS who you’d picture … but I sure didn’t.
